Smile with your new Dental Implants
Missing teeth create many problems in everyday living, and quality of life slides down hill. Dentures and partial dentures aren’t right for everyone. Is there any hope of reclaiming a strong, white smile that looks and feels natural? Absolutely. Dr. Afshin Arian, our Las Vegas Smile Center Dentist can help you get back your smile.
As we age, so does our smile. Teeth can become loose as their connections and attaching ligaments fail, and eventually they may break or fall out entirely. There is no reason for you to not live with a full, beautiful smile.
Dentures are simply a removable set of replacement teeth and surrounding tissue, and can help provide the full support and beautiful look that you deserve even in your older age. With two types of dentures, people with many different needs can be secure, knowing you can eat what you like and not be embarrassed by your smile.
Are Dentures right for you?
Those who are good candidates for dental dentures are those who are missing teeth or whose teeth are so broken or decayed that they cannot be saved with other methods. The cost of dentures, is a lot more economical then other methods of replacing teach such as dental implants. Dr. Arian will be able to determine what dentures are best for you.
There are two types of dentures that the Las Vegas Smile Center offer, depending on your need, complete and partial. Complete dentures replace the whole set of teeth, while a partial can be used to replace missing teeth in the gaps created when you still have some natural teeth. Complete dentures are either conventional or immediate. Traditional dental dentures require all of your existing teeth to be removed and time for your gum tissue to heal, usually taking eight to twelve weeks to do so. During that time, your custom dentures can be made, and once the gums have healed, the conventional denture is ready to be moved into position. Created from custom molds, your dentures will fit snugly and are designed to last for a long time.
